THE LITTLE WOOD HOUSE
The Little Wood House provides self-catering accommodation for 4-6 people. It has two bedrooms, one with a set of 2 full size bunks, the other having a double bed with a single bunk above. In addition each room has a loft bed above the door accessed by a ladder; these are popular but visitors must ensure the competence and suitability of anyone using a loft bed. No liability can be accepted for the misuse of this facility.
The living area contains a couch. An additional mattress and/or cot are available. There is ample paddock space for additional camping if necessary.
There is a large social space that provides sitting, eating and a kitchen area with a wood-fired Rayburn; there is a small bathroom and shower and amazing, state of the art composting toilets! Electricity is solar and wind powered and the ‘grey’ water is used for the gardens and trees.
The verandah is accessed by a ramp and the house is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Please see The Gallery for photos and About the Project for full environmental credentials.
