THINGS TO DO at The Little Wood House
LOCAL WALKS, VILLAGES and PUBS... a pleasant walk through the adjoining Holywell Dingle Nature Reserve leads to Eardisley, offering 2 pubs (The Tram Inn and The New Strand), a shop and post office. In the other direction, a network of footpaths and lanes takes you to the quiet village of Almeley and another delightful pub (The Bells) that also offer an amazing shop full of local produce and home cooked delights.
OPPORTUNITIES to get away from it all in these glorious Welsh and English Marches include walks, biking, canoeing, pony-trekking, beautiful houses and gardens and wild hillsides. There are market towns and villages such as Ludlow steeped in history, books and festivals in the famous village of Hay-on-Wye, and music and theatrical events galore. The Brecon Beacons National Park is not far at all.
